Yay! Fall is here! My absolute favourite season! I have been looking forward to this season for many reasons; sweaters, blankets, fresh apple cider, cooler days, cool nights so one can snuggle under blankets. Another reason is so I can decorate for Fall! This year I made a welcome sign that I can use in any season and added some burlap and mums, hopefully some corn stalks and a pumpkin will be joining my arrangement as well. My name is Primrose Ndagire Kisuule. I’m a married mom of 4 kids. I was born and grew up in Uganda so a lot of what I am today reflects my upbringing. I got born again at age 14 at the Boarding school I attended back in Uganda. I met my husband Richard at University in Uganda and shortly after we started dating, he moved to the UK. I joined him 2 years later to do my Master’s degree. Another 2 years later, we got married. In total, Richard and I lived in England, United Kingdom for 11 and 9 years respectively. We also had our 2 boys, Nathaniel and Matthew there. 3yrs ago, we moved to Canada and settled among the Mennonites, a group of people we had never known even existed. Growing up I always looked forward to the next season… I couldn’t wait to finish grade 6.. couldn’t wait to get to high school… couldn’t wait to get my drivers licence… couldn't wait to have a boyfriend… couldn’t wait to get married… couldn’t wait to have children…. A friend of mine recently told me an incredible story of an incident that happened with her mom.  The story so impressed me that I requested permission to share it with you. But before I do, let me tell you a little about myself.  I’m the happy wife of an amazing man and the joyful (more sometimes than others) mother of four very busy boys. May..... What a beautiful word! What a beautiful month! Spring is in full swing...well almost. And in May we celebrate Mother's Day.    We all have something very wonderful in common and that is that we all have a mother! Not one of us would be here if we had not been "woven in our mother's womb." Psalm 139:13.... therefore  "I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made". Psalm 139:14. Without our mothers we would not be here.  Some of us have been called to motherhood and some will be moms in the future. And what a privilege it is and what a wonderful calling to have. We praise God for the privilege of being created and been given life and that is very good and necessary but have we thanked our moms for taking care of our needs when we were helpless babies and for raising us. This is a synopsis of our first two years, out of twenty-two of missionary service in Bolivia.                                                   When God delivered me from the power of darkness to a new life in Christ , it was nothing short of a miracle ,  it was nothing what I  had done , it was only God   (Eph. 2:1-10).  He transformed my  life from  selfish   distasteful  ambitions and gave me  the  desire  to have fellowship with Him and glorify His Name.   When we found this new life in God’s word, I thought we were probably the only ones that had really found it, but soon after that we found dear friends  that helped us grow, and grow ing  we did, even our family  and friends  noticed  it .  Soon after  we found salvation in Jesus Christ , we started h...
